President Donald Trump ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate whether the administration of former President Joe Biden sought to conspire to cover up his mental state while he was in office, which caused a Biden response.
“Let me be clear: I made decisions during my presidency,” Biden said in a statement. “I made decisions about pardons, executive orders, legislation and proclamations. Any suggestion that was not ridiculous and false.”
The White House measure represents a significant escalation of the White House, since it is a directive for the Department of Justice to investigate.

It goes beyond the review of the last minute forgives of Biden before leaving office.
Biden responded to Trump’s memorandum to Bondi and the Department of Justice, calling for an investigation “nothing more than a mere distraction” and defending his decision -making capacity. In a statement, he says that any suggestion that he did not have control is “ridiculous and false.”

“This is nothing more than a distraction of Donald Trump and the Republicans of Congress who are working to promote disastrous legislation that would reduce essential programs such as Medicaid and increase the costs to US families, all to pay fiscal exemptions for ultra -rich and large corporations,” Biden said in a statement to ABC News.
The president ordered the senior official of the Law of the United States, in coordination with his White House lawyer, to investigate “the circumstances surrounding the alleged execution of Biden of numerous executive actions during their last years in office,” according to A statement of the White House.
