Elon Musk attacks Trump’s financing bill: “Unpleasant abomination”

Days after attacking a Megabill that advances on the legislative agenda of President Donald Trump, Elon Musk criticized him on Tuesday, qualifying him as “unpleasant abomination” in a position in X.
“I’m sorry, but I can’t bear it anymore. This draft expense bill of the massive congress, outrageous and full of pork is an unpleasant abomination,” The musk wrote of the invoice of the House of Representatives. “It’s a shame for those who voted for him: you know you did wrong. You know it.”
Musk continued with another position claiming that the bill “will massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $ 2.5 billion (!!!
The legislation extends Trump’s tax cuts in 2017 and increases spending for military and border security, while making some cuts to Medicaid, Snap and other assistance programs. It will also add around $ 3.8 billion to the debt of $ 36.2 billion from the federal government during the next decade, according to the non -partisan Congress Budget Office.
The negotiations on the bill are underway in the Senate, and the president works on the phones and has meetings with the senators to try to approve his schedule of sweeping by the Congress.

When asked about Musk’s comments, the White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, dismissed her criticism.
“Look, the president already knows where Elon Musk stopped in this bill,” Leavitt said during the White House Press Conference. “The president’s opinion does not change. This is a big and beautiful bill and adheres to it.”
